15/4/2022 Refugee's False Dream Land![]() A member of our group has written down some thoughts about the situation of refugees and illegalisation, which we are happy to share here: Refugee's False Dream Land First, I want to explain to you who the refugee is. A refugee is a person who is persecuted in his country of origin by the ruling authority or by terrorist groups. He may be because of his political or religious inclinations or sexual orientation for both sexes, and so on, and after being exposed to such problems, he finds that his only option is his homeland and finding a safe haven to continue life. From here, the suffering begins - first, because of the authorities’ handling of his case, which is neglect and lack of interest in him, and they do not have the opportunity to prove his personality. Secondly racism, three, and the most important is your feeling that you are a stranger in fact. To get to know people who give you hope and relieve you of this heavy burden that you suffer. Personally, I am going through this experience now, but despite all this painful experience, luck laughed at me and got to know a group of young men and women and I am proud and honored to know them because they are essential supporters for me and many people who share their problems and provide assistance at all times despite the difficulties of life. We come to the suffering of refugees in Austria, specifically what happens to refugees in Austria. It is a disgrace against this noble people. I can talk about myself personally. What happened to me, I am a Kurdish refugee from Iraq I have been living in Austria for about seven years and I have not obtained the right of asylum until now under the pretext that Iraq is a safe country and worse than this after receiving the rejection of your application, the tragedy begins. First, they withdraw your personal identification card, secondly, they deprive you of financial aid and health insurance, and thirdly, they force you to house arrest and visit the police every forty-eight hours and they force you to do stupid things and then they say, "Didn't we tell you that they are bad people and don't respect the law anyway? I think I've written a short summary of what's going on with refugees. In fact, there's a lot to talk about. There is a lot of contradiction in it, or rather they differentiate between them, meaning that they do not act with you as if you were to come in the sense of the word, and the intelligent person understands what I mean by this. And last but not least, I want to extend my thanks and gratitude to those who support refugees in general from the organizations and groups of young people who stay vigil in order to provide comfort and life, truly words cannot describe them. I live with them my dear friends, the most beautiful feeling in life is to be a stranger and do not feel this feeling because of the people who live with you and do not let you live with this feeling. Thank you all. I hope all refugees will solve their problems soon and lead a normal life like other human beings. In the end, I want to tell you, do not imagine that the decision to emigrate, or in other words, to leave your roots is a simple thing. It is not easy to leave your family, brothers, sisters, past, memories and friends. Really, a difficult choice needs a heart of rock. believe that a person lives and dies only once but unfortunately here you die every moment, that is, you are the living dead. It is a bad feeling to be disappointed and live the state of the proverb that says "the magic turned against the magician". Finally, I hope that I did not hurt anyone's feelings through this the words. I want to thank each of the group of young people who support refugees. I wish them success, health and safety. As the initiative „Rückkehrzentren schließen“ we hope to be part of a movement that will change the situation of human beings suffering from racist oppression in Austria. Therefore our demands are:
